Too often in Australia, DD+ options in high street stores start at a size 12 band and above. For women with smaller back sizes, this can leave us with very little choice…. or worse, being told to using sister sizing and wear the wrong band and cup size just to get a bra.
As someone who fluctuates between a 6GG and 8G, I understand firsthand how frustrating it is to walk into stores and find nothing that truly fits. Many stores try to “fix” this by offering a sister size: for example, if you need a 10F, they might suggest a 14DD, which has a similar cup volume but a completely wrong band fit. If you’re focused on the cups and don’t know how a band should feel, it’s easy to walk away thinking the bra works even though it doesn’t provide the support you need. If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone and i am here to fix this.
