80% of Women Are Wearing the Wrong Bra Size!

How is this possible?
Most women simply don’t know what a correctly fitting bra should feel or look like.

  • Every bra fits differently. A 10E in one brand doesn’t automatically equal a 10E in another.

  • Knowing what feels right is key — it’s all about understanding fit so you can make the right choice for yourself.

Signs Your Bra Doesn’t Fit

  • Band rides up your back

  • Straps dig into your shoulders

  • Underwires sit on breast tissue

  • Cups overflow or gape

  • Neck, shoulder, or back pain

If you notice any of these, your bra is likely the wrong size — and it’s not your fault!

Why the Band Matters

Did you know 80% of your bra support comes from the band, not the straps?

  • If the band isn’t firm enough:

    • It will ride up your back

    • Your bust will sag in the front

    • You may experience neck and back pain

  • If the band isn’t doing its job, you’ll probably tighten the straps and they’ll start digging into your shoulders, causing discomfort and leaving you unsupported.

The 10-Second “Is This Bra Actually Working?” Check

Before you commit to a bra, do this quick check:

The Band (aka the real Most Valuable Player)

Your band should sit straight and level all the way around, no riding up your back. It should feel firm (Yes, firm! And don’t panic about a little back curve — we’re celebrating curves here, not hiding them) on the loosest hook when new. You should only be able to slide one or two fingers underneath it.

If it’s creeping up? It’s too loose — and your straps are about to start working overtime.

The Cups

Your breasts should sit fully inside the cups.
Spilling over the top or sides? Too small.
Wrinkling or gaping? Too big.
We’re aiming for smooth, supported, and secure.

The Straps

Straps are there to balance and lift — not to carry the whole team. If they’re digging into your shoulders, your band probably isn’t doing its job.

The Centre Front (Gore)

That little panel between the cups should sit flat against your chest. If it’s floating away from your body, chances are the cups are too small. And no, tightening the straps won’t fix that 😉

The Underwire

The wire should sit around your breast tissue — not on it. If it’s digging into your boob instead of sitting on your ribcage, that’s a big red flag 🚩

The Side View Test

From the side, your bust should sit roughly halfway between your shoulders and elbows. Think lifted and supported — not pointing south.
